Pediatric Blood Pressure Threshold Calculator

About this calculator: For children aged 1–12, thresholds come from the full AAP 2017 blood pressure tables (Table 4 for boys, Table 5 for girls): the row for the child's age in completed years, and the column whose printed height is closest to the child's height. Each threshold is the percentile value or the adult value (120/80, 130/80, 140/90), whichever is lower, as the guideline specifies. For ages 13 and above, adult thresholds apply per AAP 2017. Results agree with the AAP's own calculator (built by the tables' authors) within 1 mmHg. This tool is intended for educational and clinical reference use.
